ABOUT ME
My name is Cate Simmons and I was born and raised in Meridian, Mississippi, where I discovered my love of art at an early age. I went on to study Graphic Design at Mississippi State University, earning a BFA alongside a minor in Marketing.
I’m a multidisciplinary graphic designer with a thoughtful, methodical approach to my work. I move comfortably between editorial layouts, social campaigns, and print ads, and I like knowing the reason behind every choice on the page.
My style blends vintage influences with a modern, clean edge. When I’m not hunched over my computer, I love to paint, go on walks with friends, update my Letterboxd account, and talk about fashion with anyone who’ll listen. Currently based in Mississippi, I am moving to New York City in February 2027 and am open to both freelance and full-time opportunities.
